The Mission of the Church
What is the mission of the Church? To know Jesus, and make Him known. That sounds simple but it's true. There is no higher purpose than to know Jesus. The apostle Paul was so determined to know Jesus that he declared "he had suffered the loss of all things," just so that he could gain Christ. He also said that should be our highest priority.
But likewise our next priority should be to make Christ known to those who don't yet know Him. That why Jesus gave this mandate to the Church. He said;
Mark 16:15 (NKJV)
15 And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.
19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen.
We endeavor to do that through a multifaceted approach. It's not just missions abroad but missions everywhere, across the street and across the world! Take a few minutes and browse our outreaches.

The first Sunday of each month is "Missions Sunday," and we encourage all in attendance to give a special offering to reach our world for Jesus!
